Lock-A-Folder is a free tool that allows you to encrypt folders on your PC. The program not only blocks access to a folder, but it also makes them invisible to people who do not know about it.
Upon first use, ask LocK-A-Folder you to create a master password; then choose from the menu up to 3 folders you would like to encrypt. With a click on "Lock it!" they disappear from sight. If you want to open the folder at a later time, then you need to unlock it which you can do via the LocK-A-Folder menu.
In order to encrypt or unlock a folder, you must always do it through the program menu.
In short, LocK-A-FoLdeR is able to hide up to 3 different folders on your computer and does so effectively.
